Welcome and Well Met.

My Story

Hello! I'm Xan a disabled creator currently based in Los Angeles, California.

I grew sick with a mysterious illness in 2019 and as the pandemic hit, like many people around the world, I wanted to change my life and make the most of it.

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2021 and POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) earlier this year in 2022.

I began modeling in 2011 and slowly but surely started putting my own shoots together and teaching myself photography. 11 years later here were are.

I can't convey the depths and types of challenges that I faced when I lost my health, but what kept me going was the self-love that I expressed through self-portraits, as well as working towards sharing the photographic projects I captured over the last 5 years.

While I have many limitations now, this work keeps me excited and ready to keep moving forward.

It brings me great pride and joy to share my creative works with you, from traditional art to the lessons I have learned, the new interests that excite me, and the commitment of love that has been my photography.  I hope you will champion me and grow with me as I make the biggest dreams of my life come true.
